I haven't posted for a while because of Hurricane Sandy.  Basically our life was put on hold with this storm.  Lost all my trees in the front of the house.  I will put pictures up as soon as I can get them on my new computer.

One good note is that I did finish the Thanksgiving Sampler and will frame it and give it to my daughter for her apartment.

I must be really nervous!  Stitching all day. Will I finish it tomorrow?

Well, I stitch a lot when I'm nervous!  I did all this yesterday. I am thinking it will probably be finished by tomorrow. Why am I nervous?  THE HURRICANE IS COMING!!!!!!!  They are saying it is going to be a "once in a lifetime event!"

I am going to give this Thanksgiving piece to my daughter. She is a policewoman in Manhattan and she has to do a 12 hour shift starting at 7:00 pm. I am scared for her.

Will keep everyone posted. Oh, I live on Long Island New York and the weather people say there will be flooding from the North and the South!

Well, really did some stitching yesterday!  Basically all that is left is to finish the left side and bottom.  Worried about Hurricane  Sandy.

Got a new project in the mail today!  Will be doing this all winter and should be ready for next Christmas

Back to my Thanksgiving project. Didn't post the last few days because I was so busy. Next Friday I will be retiring from my job after 18 years!  Starting November 3, 2012 I will be a free lady to stitch and sew as much as I want.

I finally got the pilgrim woman done and started on the saying across the bottom.  This will be completed and framed by Thanksgiving!

Well, I did manage to get some more done on the "Thanksgiving" project. I don't know why all I want to do is loom!
